This website, developed by the Common Core Curriculum Committee, provides Information for faculty, advisors, and students interested in degree requirements for the Schools of Liberal Arts and Science at IUPUI. It provides information about Integrator courses as well as other elements of the common core curriculum. The Common Core Curriculum Committee is a standing committee of the Purdue School of Science and the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis. The Committee oversees the continuing development of the common core curriculum, which was adopted jointly in 1998 by the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Science. Its responsibilities include amending the lists of approved courses, as well as establishing and certifying the standards of the courses admitted to the core curriculum. The committee is jointly chaired by one faculty member from the Liberal Arts and one from Science, and its membership includes cross-representation from the School of Science Educational Policies Committee and the School of Liberal Arts Curriculum and Academic Standards and Policies Committees.
